If you have food allergies, you know the feeling of avoiding certain cuisines as a precaution. This can be manageable at home, but it can become a challenge while traveling.

During one vacation, I stayed at an all-inclusive resort and informed the staff about my nut allergy during check-in. To my surprise, they gave me a cue card to present at the on-site restaurants, which allowed the staff to inform me about which foods were safe for me to eat.

This experience was fantastic, and while it worked well because all the restaurants were part of the same resort, it got me thinking. A product like this could help travelers with food allergies feel more confident and safe when exploring new destinations.
